Gentler sleep training for babies: new study tests less stressful method
NCT ID NCT05726890
Summary
This study is comparing two gentle methods to help babies with insomnia sleep better. Researchers are testing a new 'bedtime checking' method, which only involves separation at bedtime, against a more common 'standard checking' method that also addresses night wakings. They want to see which approach improves sleep faster and is easier for parents to stick with, while also measuring how it affects both the baby's and parents' sleep.
