Scientists map baby gut bacteria: formula vs breast milk showdown

NCT ID NCT06059209

Summary

This study aims to understand how different feeding methods affect babies' gut bacteria. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of 240 infants who are either breastfed, fed a standard formula, or fed a newer formula designed to be more like breast milk. They will collect stool samples from birth to 4 months to see how the gut bacteria community changes over time.
