Can a new formula make babies smarter?
NCT ID NCT05310396
Summary
This study tested whether adding a specific blend of nutrients to infant formula could improve babies' brain development, thinking skills, and behavior. It involved 240 healthy, formula-fed infants in the Philippines who were given either the special formula or a standard one from about 2 months old until age 2. Researchers measured the babies' learning, memory, language, and behavior to see if the nutrient blend made a difference.
