Does inducing labor early affect a Child's development? major 5-Year study seeks answers

NCT ID NCT07330336

Summary

This study will follow children and their mothers for five years to understand the long-term effects of two different approaches to late pregnancy. It compares inducing labor at 39 weeks of pregnancy to waiting for labor to start naturally in first-time, low-risk mothers. The main goal is to see if these different approaches affect the child's development at age 5 or the mother's mental and physical health years later.
