Can cleaner indoor air protect hearts during wildfire season?
NCT ID NCT06384625
Summary
This small pilot study tested a program to help people with heart disease improve the air quality in their homes. Twenty participants aged 55+ received air cleaners, air quality monitors, and educational materials. The main goal was to see if people would use these tools regularly over a 6-month period, including during wildfire season, to inform a larger future study.
