Tailored exercise program aims to help ALS patients stay mobile
NCT ID NCT07341984
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized physical therapy program, designed based on a detailed assessment of each patient's specific movement problems, works better than standard physical therapy for people with ALS. The goal is to help patients maintain their physical function, like climbing stairs, for as long as possible. About 38 participants will be followed for one year to see which approach is more helpful and safe.
