First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at how glucose (sugar) spreads in the body of adults with severe burns covering at least 30% of their skin. Researchers will measure this over the first four days in the hospital to understand fluid changes. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors manage fluids better in burn patients. About 15 participants will be enrolled at one hospital in France.
