First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special training program (called ECHO) helps rural primary care providers refer their inactive patients to a free, phone-based physical activity counseling service. About 48 doctors and clinic staff from rural Pennsylvania are taking part. The goal is to see if the training increases how often doctors make these referrals, which could help patients become more active.
