Summary
This study was designed to find out why some patients develop incisional hernias after emergency abdominal surgery. It planned to follow adults who had emergency midline laparotomy and look at factors like age, weight, smoking, and infection. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
