This study tested whether a smartphone app called InBloom could help prevent postpartum depression in pregnant people at risk. 152 participants were split into two groups: one used the app, the other attended weekly group support sessions (ROSE). Researchers tracked depression symptoms, satisfaction, and healthcare costs for up to 8 months.
