Summary
This study tested a patient decision aid (PDA) to help adults with under-treated hypothyroidism take their levothyroxine medication more consistently. 236 participants were randomly assigned to receive the PDA or usual care. The goal was to see if the PDA improved medication adherence, knowledge about the condition, and quality of life.
