Summary

This Canadian study tests whether adding two questions about morning stiffness and lower back pain to a standard screening tool (PEST) can help dermatologists identify psoriatic arthritis earlier in people with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. About 502 adults who are candidates for biologic medications will complete the screening, and those flagged will see a rheumatologist for confirmation. The goal is to improve early diagnosis and prevent joint damage.
