Finding the right words: study aims to transform tough talks for parents facing premature birth
NCT ID NCT03819933
Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors counsel families facing the possibility of an extremely premature birth. Researchers will first interview families to learn their preferred language and then use that information to create new training programs for doctors. The goal is to help doctors communicate more effectively, reduce family anxiety, and support better shared decision-making during a very stressful time.
