New heart scan method could catch hidden lung blood pressure disease

Summary

This study tests a new computer tool called IMPULSE that helps doctors read heart ultrasound images to find pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) earlier. About 200 people with unexplained shortness of breath or risk factors will take part. The goal is to see if the tool is more accurate than current guidelines.
