First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using video and audio recordings from an 'Operating Room Black Box' during team debriefings after surgery helps staff feel more psychologically safe and work better together. About 135 operating room staff from three hospitals will take part. One group will have standard debriefings, while the other will use recordings to guide their discussion. The goal is to see if this approach reduces stress and burnout, and improves teamwork.
