First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a low dose of pancreatic enzymes to a nutritional drink can help older adults (70+) who are at risk of malnutrition absorb more nutrients from their food. Twenty hospitalized participants will receive the enzyme-supplemented drink, and researchers will measure changes in amino acid levels in their blood. The goal is to improve nutrient bioavailability and support better nutrition without major side effects.
