Summary
This study tested two counseling programs designed to help HIV-positive mothers and their children live better. Researchers wanted to see if teaching coping skills and medication management could improve their quality of life, mood, and family relationships. The study involved 130 mother-child pairs in China and compared those who received the counseling to those who received standard care.
