Local champions vs. outside experts: which works better for vaccine talks?

NCT ID NCT05736718

Summary

This study tested two ways to train clinic staff on how to better communicate with parents about the HPV vaccine. Researchers compared training delivered by an outside expert to training delivered by a respected 'vaccine champion' from within the clinic's own healthcare system. They then looked at vaccination records for children aged 9-12 to see if one training method led to more kids starting or completing the vaccine series.
