Can text messages stop people from forgetting their HIV prevention pills?
NCT ID NCT06476847
Summary
This study is testing whether simple reminders and commitment tools can help men in South Africa who have sex with men continue taking their daily HIV prevention pills. Researchers want to see if text messages and planning prompts make it easier for people to stick with the medication routine. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future trial that could improve long-term HIV prevention.
