MRI heart monitor breakthrough could make scans safer

NCT ID NCT07456644

Summary

This study aims to improve the accuracy of heart rhythm monitors used during MRI scans. The strong magnetic fields in MRI machines can distort heart monitor signals, making it harder for doctors to monitor patients safely. Researchers will record heart signals from 2,500 patients during their routine cardiac MRI scans to better understand and reduce this interference.
