Major heart study aims to make bypass surgery last longer
NCT ID NCT07377149
Summary
This study aims to improve the quality of heart bypass surgery by training hospital teams to use more artery grafts instead of vein grafts. Researchers will work with 8,700 patients' data across hospitals to see if training programs help surgeons use more durable artery connections. The goal is to help bypass surgeries last longer by following best practices that research shows work better over time.
