Summary
This study tested whether an advanced practice nurse focused on emergency and post-emergency care could improve patient flow and reduce repeat visits to the ER. Researchers tracked 328 patients who visited the ER to see how many came back within 15 days and why. The goal was to find ways to ease overcrowding and improve access to care.
