New program aims to close critical gap in cancer screening

NCT ID NCT06822530

Summary

This study is testing whether a support program helps more people get a needed colonoscopy after an abnormal at-home stool test for colorectal cancer. The program includes a patient navigator, an educational video about colonoscopies, and help with a ride home after the procedure. Researchers want to see if this extra support makes it easier for patients to complete this important follow-up step.
