Wheelchair skills training goes remote: a Game-Changer for clinicians?

NCT ID NCT06294834

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a remote training program can help rehabilitation professionals become better at teaching manual wheelchair skills. About 235 clinicians will be split into three groups: one gets the remote training with feedback, another does self-study online, and a third serves as a control. The goal is to see if the training boosts clinicians' confidence and ability, and whether it leads to more and better wheelchair skills training for their patients.
