First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether an automated measuring device could improve the accuracy of bladder diaries in women with lower urinary tract symptoms. Participants recorded their urine volume using both a traditional paper diary and an electronic device over three days. The goal was to see if the device provided more precise data than the usual 'eye-balling' method. The study included 187 women, both with and without urinary symptoms.
