Summary
This study will test a new, evidence-based approach to delivering emergency dialysis (renal replacement therapy) to 4500 patients in Alberta intensive care units. The goal is to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs by standardizing care. Researchers will track key performance indicators, length of hospital stay, and survival rates.
