Summary
This study tested whether a short questionnaire given to women aged 50-80 during a hospital stay could help find those at risk for osteoporosis. Over 3,200 women took part. Those with risk factors were offered a bone density scan and, if needed, a referral to a specialist. The goal was to improve screening for a disease that often goes undetected.
