Summary
This study is testing a new two-part stem cell transplant method for adults with blood cancers who do not have a perfectly matched donor. Patients receive stem cells from both a partially matched family member and a carefully selected umbilical cord blood unit. The goal is to see if focusing on better biological matching, rather than just the number of cells in the cord blood, can help patients recover faster and improve long-term survival.
