New implant zaps leg nerve to quiet overactive bladder

Summary
This study tested a small device implanted near the ankle that sends mild electrical pulses to a nerve in the leg to treat overactive bladder. 188 adults with urge incontinence who had not improved with other treatments took part. The main goal was to see if the device reduced daily leakage episodes by at least half after 6 months.
