Summary
This study looks at why people with bone cancer (skeletal sarcoma) get infections around their artificial joints much more often than those who have joint replacements for arthritis. Researchers will collect tissue and blood samples from 40 patients to compare the germs and immune responses involved. The goal is to understand the key factors behind these infections, which could lead to better prevention in the future.
