Brain-Controlled bionic hand? new implant aims for more natural movement

Summary
This study is testing a new implanted device called MIRA to see if it helps people with a hand amputation control a robotic limb better. The small device is placed under the skin in the remaining forearm muscles to pick up electrical signals, aiming for more natural and simultaneous control of hand and wrist movements. Five participants will have the device implanted for up to one year to test its safety and how well it works for daily use.
