First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at 39 adults who received a single dental implant crown to replace a missing tooth. Researchers compared three attachment methods—screw-retained, cemented, and the Acuris system—to see how they affected gum inflammation and bone loss around the implant over one year. The goal was to find which method causes the least irritation and best preserves gum and bone health.
