Summary

This study looks at whether patients who are placed in a hospital bed that doesn't match their medical needs have a higher risk of dying. Researchers will follow about 2,766 emergency department patients who need to be admitted to the hospital. The goal is to see if the type of bed they receive affects their survival and recovery.
