Summary
This study tests whether giving the steroid methylprednisolone right after a stroke clot removal procedure can help patients recover better and lower the risk of bleeding in the brain. About 210 adults who had a major stroke and had their blocked artery reopened will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if this treatment improves long-term disability outcomes.
