First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether analyzing the genetic changes in a patient's tumor can help doctors pick a more effective targeted therapy for metastatic cancer. Over 1,300 patients with cancer that has spread are randomly assigned to receive either a treatment chosen based on their tumor's genetic profile or standard care. The goal is to see if the genetic approach leads to longer time without the cancer getting worse.
