New combo therapy aims to shrink liver tumors without surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding two immunotherapy drugs (durvalumab and tremelimumab) to a procedure called Y-90 SIRT (tiny radioactive beads placed in the liver) can shrink intermediate-stage liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 55 adults with this type of liver cancer will receive the combination treatment. The main goal is to see how many patients have their tumors shrink or disappear within 6 months.
