First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple blood test that tracks tumor DNA can help doctors decide if patients with advanced lung cancer can be treated with immunotherapy alone or need chemotherapy added. About 108 adults with newly diagnosed stage IV non-small cell lung cancer will participate. The goal is to see if using the blood test leads to better control of the cancer compared to standard treatment.
