Cancer study tracks 2,000+ patients to predict dangerous treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT04871542

Summary

This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop serious side effects from immunotherapy drugs while others don't. Researchers will follow 2,062 patients with solid tumors who are starting standard immunotherapy treatment. By tracking side effects, collecting blood samples, and having patients complete regular questionnaires, they hope to identify risk factors that could help doctors predict and prevent severe reactions in the future.
