New hope to stop colon cancer from coming back

NCT ID NCT07140679

Summary

This study tests whether an immunotherapy drug called toripalimab can help prevent cancer from returning after surgery in people with high-risk colon cancer that has a specific genetic feature. About 40 patients who have had their colon cancer surgically removed will receive the drug through an IV every 3 weeks for 6 months. Researchers will track patients for up to 5 years to see if the treatment improves survival and reduces the chance of the cancer coming back.
