New study aims to shield blood cancer patients from Post-CAR-T infections
NCT ID NCT05952804
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving antibody replacement therapy can reduce serious infections in people who have received CAR-T cell therapy for blood cancers. CAR-T therapy often lowers the body's natural antibodies, raising infection risk. The trial will compare the antibody treatment to a placebo in 150 patients to see if it helps prevent bacterial infections.
