Scientists map immune system in kids with severe lupus
NCT ID NCT07352332
Summary
This study aims to understand how the immune system changes in children with severe, hard-to-treat lupus who are receiving a specific therapy that targets B cells. Researchers will collect blood samples from 6 participants over time to analyze immune cells and see how these changes relate to their lupus symptoms. The study does not provide or test the treatment itself; it only observes what happens in patients already receiving it elsewhere.
