Summary
This phase III trial tests whether a shorter, 'immune sandwich' regimen works as well as full-course immunotherapy for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The experimental group gets induction chemotherapy plus two immune-targeting drugs (toripalimab and nimotuzumab), then radiation with only one of them, followed by maintenance toripalimab. The control group receives immunotherapy throughout all phases. The study aims to see if the sandwich approach offers similar cancer control with fewer side effects.
