Fertility study: immune sensitivity test may boost IVF success

NCT ID NCT07449494

First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at 148 infertile women with an overactive immune system in the uterus who were treated with glucocorticoids (a type of anti-inflammatory drug) before embryo transfer. Some women had a sensitivity test to see if the drug would work for them, while others did not. The goal was to see if the test helped improve the chance of having a baby. The study only observed what happened in routine care, without assigning treatments.
