First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for people whose cancer has spread to the thin layer covering the brain and spinal cord (leptomeningeal metastasis). The treatment combines an immune-boosting drug (immune checkpoint inhibitor) with a chemotherapy drug (pemetrexed), both injected directly into the spinal fluid. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if it helps control the disease. The study includes 45 adults aged 18-75 with solid tumors and positive spinal fluid tests.
