Faster dental implants may be just as stable as waiting months

This study looked at whether putting a temporary tooth on a new dental implant right away (immediate loading) works as well as waiting six months (delayed loading) in the front upper jaw. Sixteen healthy adults missing one or more front teeth took part. Researchers checked implant stability and bone changes using special scans and found that immediate loading may offer similar results with less waiting time.
