NCT ID NCT07518823

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This small pilot study looked at 8 adults who needed a single tooth replaced with an immediate dental implant. Researchers compared two methods to manage the gap between the implant and the cheek bone: a bone mineral graft or a soft tissue graft. They used scans and X-rays to measure bone and gum changes over 6 months. The goal was to see which method better preserves the bone and gum around the implant.
