First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested the drug imatinib (Glivec) against a placebo in 28 adults with severe scleroderma, a disease that causes skin to harden and tighten. Participants took the drug or placebo for 6 months, and doctors measured changes using a skin score and biopsies.
