New scan tracer could help doctors see hidden protein signals

NCT ID NCT07625345

First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive tracer called [11C]ZTP-1 to see if it can measure a protein called PDE4B in the body and brain. PDE4B helps control inflammation and brain signals, and better imaging could help manage diseases. Healthy adults aged 18 and older will have PET/CT scans, and some will also get an MRI. The goal is to see how well the tracer works, not to treat any condition.
