New imaging technique aims to improve surgical outcomes for women

NCT ID NCT05071976

Summary

This study is testing a special camera that uses a safe dye to show blood flow in tissue during reconstructive surgery. It aims to help surgeons make better decisions in real-time while operating on women who need reconstruction after gynecologic cancer surgery. The goal is to see if this imaging tool changes how surgeons manage the reconstruction process to potentially improve healing.
