Glowing dye could light up oral cancer for surgeons

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new fluorescent dye called PARPi-FL. The goal is to see if the dye can help surgeons better see and detect oral cancer during an operation. Researchers will first check the dye's safety at different doses in 23 patients, then see which dose works best to make the cancer visible.
